My F45 Journey and Home Kitchen Organization Tips
It's been almost a month since I started my fitness journey at F45, attending classes twice a week. While it's definitely a commitment—driving to class, working out, and returning home takes a significant chunk of the day—I find that this schedule keeps me accountable and motivated.
Recently, I treated myself to a much-needed massage after experiencing some serious workout soreness. My husband and I arranged for a babysitter so we could enjoy this rare weeknight break. Interestingly, our two-year-old, who typically wakes up multiple times during the night, slept straight through until 8 AM with the babysitter—one of those parenting mysteries!
Expanding Our Home Gym Setup
While I value my F45 sessions, I'm also planning to incorporate more at-home workouts. We recently purchased a rowing machine that should arrive in the next couple of weeks, which will be a great addition to our garage gym. We're currently in the process of cleaning out the garage for an upcoming garage sale, making space for our growing home fitness area.
Kitchen Organization Project
Today's focus was on thoroughly organizing the kitchen using the Marie Kondo method. I emptied out the entire pantry—perhaps for the first time ever—and reorganized everything from scratch.
My Essential Pantry Storage Solutions
One of my favorite organizational tools is our collection of lazy Susans. We use them throughout the pantry to store and easily access items like:
- Oils and vinegars
- Nut butters and honey
- Other frequently used condiments
Pantry Staples I Always Keep Stocked
Some of my must-have pantry items include:
- Palmini noodles (made from heart of palm)
- Kevin's sauces
- Various nutritional supplements
- Farm-fresh eggs
Kitchen Tools and Cookware Favorites
My kitchen is equipped with several high-quality tools and cookware pieces that make cooking more enjoyable:
Cookware Collections
- Our Place: The Always Pan (Zico Decoways version) is a particular favorite, along with their stainless steel options and Dutch oven pot
- Caraway: Non-stick, non-toxic pans that we absolutely love
- California Pans: Stainless steel pans from our wedding that have lasted 12+ years
Bakeware
Caraway's bakeware collection is exceptional—especially their cupcake pans and cookie sheets. They're so good that I'm considering purchasing another set.
With the kitchen officially organized, I'm moving on to the bathroom next week for another round of decluttering and organization.
