Escape Fitness Deck V2.0 Workout Platform review

If you have a bare minimum space to create a small workout area in your living room or a corner of your room, don’t worry; you can still do a number of intense workouts that can help you build your stamina and strength along with helping you lose extra body fat. Cardio, aerobics, and resistance training should be your best bet.

That’s what this Escape Fitness Deck V2.0 is meant to be used for. You can use it as a weight bench, a step platform, a plyometric box, and a ramp. You can add resistance band pegs in the bottom corners where the pegs are located.

Resistance bands are a great option for people who can’t lift weights.  These are really inexpensive resistance training products but they help improve your muscle strength, flexibility, and stamina. They can also help you with weight management. (1)

If you don’t have them, here are some of the Best Resistance Bands and Best Resistance Loop Bands that we recommend.

More than 4-star reviews from 97% of the buyers prove that it is indeed a good product

Numerous buyers have compared the quality of the Escape Fitness V2.0 workout platform with that of the more expensive competitors such as the Reebok Fitness Deck

The rubber feet are extremely grippy and stable. Weighing 29lbs, the bench too is heavy compared to other steppers and workout platforms. So, no matter how hard and how fast you want to train, it may not wobble or slide around at all.

But, the heavy weight also means it is difficult to move or stow away when done.

The rubber marks on the top surface are extremely grippy, so you can do fast-paced workouts without fearing about slipping or getting off balance.

At its max height, it almost resembles and works like a weight bench

The tilted plastic part is supported by steel tubes to prevent it from breaking or cracking or slipping off during dumbbell workouts. When folded, it can be stored in a closet or under your couch. If you don’t have enough space in your home to have a full-size flat bench or adjustable bench, this is a great alternative.

This bench has two height options; the low one is 8 inches and the high one is 14 inches from the ground. It provides three incline positions for the backrest.

The adjustment process is hassle-free and super-quick, as you can watch in the video above. All you need to do is to drop the green ends for inclining and declining it. To set it back, you need to unlock the green ends and get them back to their original positions.

Although the bench is long enough for most of us, people taller than 5’7” might not find full support for their head

The bench is of standard length, so there is nothing that you can do about it. However, some buyers have stated that the manufacturer could have made it a couple of inches longer because it claims that it is also designed to be a compact alternative to workout benches. If you are a tall person, keep this in mind while ordering.

A few buyers have reported that the legs are not quite easy to fold

That could be because they might have received a bad piece. Because, as we stated above, thousands of buyers have rated it 4-stars and above and have expressed their satisfaction regarding the quality of the Escape Fitness Deck V2.0 workout platform.

The rubberized surface could be difficult to lay on

A few buyers have stated that it is harder than other platforms they have tried. Plus, it leaves marks on your body. You need to put a towel on it, which should be OK.
